Blogging by Mail: Singapore.
This is the second time that I've signed up for the Blogging by Mail phenomenon that floats around the internet every once in a while. One blogger is responsible for accepting people's mailing addresses and allergies and then sets everyone up in a round-robin style mailing extravaganza. This particular round didn't have a theme of any sort but it's kind of understood that "foodishness" is the general theme as, mostly, the blogger who starts the BBM round is a food blogger. Or a flogger.
This round's dedicated flogger is located at Dispensing Happiness.
I have a lot of glee associated with getting mail. Especially largeish boxes of delights. This one was from the flogger at she bakes and she cooks.
So far, I've devoured the cookies (which tasted a little like the regular Chips Ahoy cookies, which is awesome) with a little help from some other people and I'm carrying the Frozz mints in my purse so that I can randomly offer people blueberry mints from the little container. They are kind of strong but kind of great.
I've actually had the White Rabbit candies before as I used to have a friend who lived in Korea who would send me mix cds and candy and I remember it as being delicious so I'm looking forward to that. Also, I've been wanting to learn new ways to cook with ethnic cuisine so I'll just use this as the motivaiton to start with Singapore on my tour of new foods. Thank you to my sender, the USPS, food and the people who love it and Dispensing Happiness.
